Cancellation Policy
Your satisfaction is our goal. While we recognize and accept that orders may need to be changed or cancelled, you must contact us as soon as possible. Orders which have shipped cannot be canceled, but we can offer a refund when the merchandise is returned, as per our return policy.
If a shipment ships to someone or an address other than that of the Buyer, our privacy policy requires that the Buyer contact us and change the order. We will not change or cancel the order for anyone other than the person who placed the original order.
We reserve the right to charge an order cancellation fee not to exceed 20% of the purchase price of the merchandise being cancelled. We will not refund shipping and handling for truck shipment since a major expense has been incurred in filling and shipping the order.
If an order is placed on back order to a lack of inventory, an order may be cancelled without further penalties or obligations by the buyer.

Return Policy
You may return unopened and unused products to us within 30 days from the invoice date. We will only refund the retail value and any sales tax of the returned products. You will need to pay for the return shipping.
Cancellation and Reservation Policy for Cooking Classes
- Payment must be received prior to the cooking class or event.
- 3 participants are required to make a class.
- You may cancel your reservation for a store credit usable toward the purchase of another class if it is WITHIN 7 DAYS of class
- Cancellations will be non-refundable if made within 24 hours prior to the class.
- If fewer than 3 people have registered, 5 days before the class, it may be cancelled. In such case, Mothersauces will provide a FULL REFUND without any other liability whatsoever.
Refunds for website purchases
You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 7 to 14 business days of our receiving your return.
Except if a product was shipped to you by error (i.e. the wrong product) you will be charged a restocking fee of 15% of the product cost plus shipping charges. If you do not receive the wrong product from your order the shipping costs associated with the delivery and return will be deducted from your refund.
If you returned only one item from a multi-item shipment, you will be reimbursed only for the shipping fee for the item you returned and not the entire order?s shipment fee.
Returning a Product (SHIPPING)
You can pack and send your return to us in just a few simple steps:
- Please contact us to obtain permission from us to return the product to us. (Please reference the order number.)
- Pack the items along with the packing slip (receipt) securely in a box. You can use the box the items arrived in or another box, if you prefer.
- Ship it to the address we specify when you contact us. (Do not ship anything to us until you have obtained permission from us.)
Customer Privacy Protection
At Mothersauces, we are truly concerned for the privacy of our customer's information. We do not market our customer's transaction information to other parties for profit. However, we may only use anonymous sale and demographic information for our business marketing. We will only email sale and product information to our customers who want to receive them. If you do not want to receive the information further, please contact us by email or use the contact us at your next checkout.
