Our chef Michele Licata is having a Holiday cookie contest. Here is what is going on.

For those of you who are aspiring bakers, I am having a Holiday Cookie Contest. Submit your very best recipe and the top 6 recipes will pitted against each other in a bake-off at Mothersauces Cooking School website. The recipes will also be posted online on my website for you to vote on. The Contest of the top 6 recipes will compete at Mothersauces Cooking School on November 8th. 9:30 am - 12:00 pm. The winning recipe will be featured by the winner in my 'Fabulous Holiday Cookies" class on Tuesday, Nov 18th and will win an 'Express Lunch' class for themselves and a guest (a $50 value!). So, roll up your sleeves and start testing those favorite recipes. All recipes must be made from scratch, healthy is a plus, with a little description of the history of the recipe and why you love it so much. All entries must be submitted by Oct. 15th, 2008.
