ABOUT US
Please, join us to a return to community and family through culinary arts. Here awaits a feast of scrumptious dishes, a return to the enjoyable times of family meals around the dining table and an endeavor to bring fellowship and sharing back into community. Here at Mothersauces Cooking School, we invite you to join us in the exploration of the culinary arts through savory recipes, spicy articles, diverse discussion and culinary classes tailored just for you. Along the way, we will discover the epicurean delights of exotic locals and here at home. We will ponder upon the finer points of wine and spirits selection. We will hone the edge of your culinary skill. We will create a community of avid learners, discerning connoisseurs, trendy tasters, great home cooking and adventurous haute cuisine. Come on in. Would you care for a cup of tea, mug of coffee or a glass of juice? How about an excursion through the herb and spice garden or a jaunt down memory lane? Can you remember when family meant being powerfully related to each other and you had that special place where you could be yourself, where you always had your moments to shine and where you were always grounded in family history? Can you recall that time when being family went beyond genetics and included those joined together by a common thought and purpose? Can you remember Sunday potlucks and mid-week game nights? Pull up a chair. We have kept supper warm, the drinks cold and dessert sweet. Would you like a slice of apple or cherry pie? How about a friendly yet opinionated debate about community issues? Maybe downloadable videos and live streaming culinary classes are your favored flavors du jour; or maybe you prefer our a la carte sampling of monthly articles. Whatever, your preference, we would like to take you back to a time when knowing your neighbor, church picnics and being well known by your local butcher was the norm. Return to a time when marathon TV vigils were unheard of and there was time to enjoy life. During your time visiting us, we at Mothersauces will like to offer you this special place where you can become family and be a vital part of our community. We look forward to having you with us, as we grow in this endeavor of blending culinary arts and community into a well-balanced dish of educating and entertaining.
